This harness is designed for vehicles where the oil pump solenoid connector has been disconnected. The cap plugs into the factory oil pump solenoid connector and helps prevent dirt and grime entering the solenoid, while the dummy harness connects to the vehicle side, imitating the behavior of the oil pump solenoid. Prevents engine light or codes from appearing due to the disconnected solenoid circuit.
